So lately in English class we've been watching these videos of kids in Uganda Africa living through the 22 years of war run by rebels. The rebels have somewhere along the lines run out of soldiers and began abducting children. Killing them if they don't participate in slaughtering civilians, beating them, and if a female forcing them to be sex slaves. These kids range from the ages of 5 to 15.
I've been greatly impacted by the videos and highly disgusted at the fact the American government has the power to do something about, it but doesn't. I, myself am looking more into trying to get involved with bringing these kids to a safe place or refuge.
