why I started this group

Hey guys! I started this group because there seems to be folks looking for rawer, more punk sounding music with links to the DIY/basement show culture. Well, here is that group. This isn't intended as a seperation, although in some sense it is; rather, i would like to discuss aspects of music as part of a community and not scene, and it starts in the basement with raw raw raw sounds. Who here wants to rock? is all I'll ask.
