Do you have one? Do you change it often? I'm considering one, but I'm not sure how to put it together.

Our alter is evolving. It is housed on what we call the Sun Shelf. The children's nature basket (houses natural items that reflect the seasons) is on the bottom. The other two shelves have candles, quotes, incense, prayer items, precious stones and any rituals I've created. I'd like to incorporate my tarot deck and possible a patron, but I haven't found mine yet.

Your altar is beautiful:-)

I don't really have an altar, not enough space but there is a shelf on my bookcase where I keep all kind of things I hold sacred to the Goddess.  I think I may start one after I move to Toledo. Blessings:-)

I have an alter, it is my first one I have ever had.
It helps to do a bit of research, in terms of what you want to use your alter for.
This will help shape your alter. I read a few books link Circle of the sun by Sharon LaBord and Self Initialtion for the Solitary Witch by Shanddaramon to five me an idea or two.
I have not changed it, I think that it will develop and evolve as I perform more rituals.
The main thing is think about your practical uses of your alter.
Here is a photo of my alter as it is now... As you can see my patron deity is Bast followed by Ra and Ptah.
Having problems finding a statue of Ptah that attracts me... Do you know of any websites?
