What form of divination do you do? I practice cartomancy (playing card divination), tarot, natal chart readings, palmistry, face reading (I'm still a bit rusty), graphology/handwriting analysis, astrology as a whole, dream interpretation annnnnnnd I think that's it. What's the question you're most asked? (Love readings, jobs, random crap), how do you deal with the annoying ones or naysayers and how do you feel about doing it for money? Just trying to stir some life in here ^.^

That's basically how finding yourself goes, there's no easy cakewalk in it. It's good that science is starting to re-notice nature but I'm still cautiously optimistic since we've all seen science start out right and end wrongly.

And if there's excess, it won't go stagnate, just increase into something really unmanagable so it's good no matter what you're finding a way to spend your energy.

I know this is a tad bit late but I would usually use Tarot(if I can only know what it tells me without having to read the manual book that came with it) and My amethsyt(stone/crystal associated with the mind) Pendulum tho I love using both. I never got into the Tea leaves which is kinda confusing for me to understand that type of Divination ;o. But overall, I love to know what's gonna happen in the future. It entertains and relaxes my curousity. ;) Also I would ask "is my name Nandi" or "Chad". W/e.  I never had many naysayers so far. Just my dad. lol. He feels as tho It's not neccesary(The long paragraph about me going to the dark path, that's him!). I just say it works best for me and I trust the answers it gives me.

Hey, I'm new here too. Just wanted to say that I find the whole divination thing pretty interesting and I've been looking it up for a while. A question I have is how do you decide which method or style you would practice? Is it a trial-and-error, or do you just go with the first thing that interests you? And are certain methods rumored to work better than others? Maybe it depends on the individual. I've also found interesting and wonder if people have ever argued over there method being the "best" method. I'm pretty sure it's not all one big happy pagan family, right? We all have our conflicts.

I see myself going in the direction of tarot, btw. I've been studying up he meaning of the cards even though I haven't committed to buying a deck yet. Any advice?

@CellHaze Welcome, btw. Happy to find more members of the group. As for tarot, I heard you can make your own or buy a deck. I would recommend you to study how the cards work and how you can use them. A couple of how to books would do. Usually when I look for best books on a subject, I go ahead & see the good reviews on Amazon.com and turn out to be fine for me. Hope that helps
Note: I don't know much on tarot.so, I suggest lookin on how to instead before you use them and also practice of course.

Greetings:-) I mostly do Tarot reading though I am beginning to branch out and the most common questions I get are love questions. They drive me NUTS!! Don't people care about anything else in the world?? UGH!..

Oh my gods, I hate love questions too! There's way too many of them! Sometimes you just wanna sit there and go, "Y'know, you're not going to hear what you want to hear so why are you asking, mate?" I understand everyone wants to be loved but dang, adopt a pet from your local shelter.

i use a pendulum sometimes...also my favorite deck, the dakini oracle

I practice sikily (or sikidy) which is the traditional form of divination in Madagascar. As far as interpretation of the sikily, I still need to ask a master of the skill.

For the money talk, I don't know in the occidental country but here (Madagascar) you know what you need to do, if the ombiasy (the one who got the skills) do something and that work well, you pay.
