Hey Group, I was just wondering if you all could give me some info on books, websites, etc. that would be a good start with learning about Wicca and Magick?

I just posted up a new The Arts: Samhain Edition just today on the Black Witch website, so here's The Arts: SE from 2010 and 2011 They both contain an extensive list of books, sites and stuff like that.

I'm sure other people got some recommendations as well.

Thanks!
Heya there :) a really good site to start poking around on is luckymojo.com. has all kinda neato stuff, also has a section on boooks and whatnot. Happy hunting :)

i love www.witchvox.com.

as far as books, i havent found a good author...they all are kind of following the Gardnerian tradition and im not really a traditionalist. atleast not in that sense. :) good luck on your path, dear! i would also stay away from Aleister Crowley if at all possible. Maybe other people had different experiences. Very interested in what books yall come up with because i need to expand my collection.

If it's Wicca you're leaning towards, try books by Amber K or Scott Cunningham. I started out with "True Magick" (Amber K) and "Wicca For The Solitary Practitioner" (Scott Cunningham) when I was 14. (I'm OLD.) You can also browse the book section on Azuregreen.com who breaks their selection down by tradition/interest/practice/etc.
