Cosplay/Costumes

EVERYBODY is Blade or Storm, usually at least 1 "Blade" wins an award at every Con I see but there are so many more ta pick from, fucked up:

There are soooo many black chars in comics that for there to mainly be Blade or Storm is straight ego and lack of creativity. Those are the safe characters because they both look pretty cool. But, I'm surprised there aren't more Spawns. I'm personally drawn to black chicks with swords (Caska from Berserk, and Michonne from The Walking Dead) if I had to dress up as anyone. And what happened to dressing up as chars who aren't necessarily Black?

I been plannin to dress up as Hellboy for years. Still haven't done it. And since I cut myself a 'hawk, I think I could pull off Savage Dragon. Who knows what race they are?

I'd love to dress up as Misty Knight from Heros for Hire. Daughters of the dragon. I've already got the afro wig. ONly its hard to find a toy gun in NYC and replicas are now illegal :( thanks bloomberg...

I've meaning to go as Papa Midnite from John Constantine: Hellblazer for the longest time.

Hell, I'd go as John Constantine himself if I could get away with bleaching my hair and NOT having it fall out.

Haven't done, want to. my cosplay compadre left two years ago and I have found no replacement that even knows who those characters are, or not having an occasion just doing it for the hell of it.
My profile has pictures of me from last halloween I did okay, destroyed all!
