It's cool that Bambaataa is gonna be there this year. I'm looking forward to seeing Carl Cox spin. I know it's gonna be great. Bad Boy Bill puts on a good set as well. Good line up!

How was it and who did you see?
I've been following residentadvisor and ghostly records twitter
so bummed I didn't plan for it
and now I have to sit through mutek reports :(

It was cool. Not as many ppl as last year came out, more than likely because it cost more this year (60.00!!!). I missed Bambaataa and Bad Boy Bill (dammit!!), but I got to see Carl Cox spin live for the first time. He was great just as I expected. I knew of Z-Trip, but was never into him, but I'm definitely a fan after the set he put on. Awesome set!

Overall, it was ok. I prefer last year, which had Moby headline. He really did put on the best set ever! If I'm still here in MI next year, then I'll go outta tradition, but hopefully they lower the price. I didn't get to attend any good afterparties this year. Either I just didn't know about them or they weren't happening like they usually are. There used to be a ton of questionably legal parties we go to afterward, but I didn't see many this year. Still had a good time though.
Sceneless, I first heard of Ztrip from this dude who was a photographer and Dj on the side, who was working part time at our museum. And he brought me in a cd of some Ztrip mix from some party. It was sooooooo good. That DEMF sounds great.
Found some youtube vids of the fest.

Here's some of Carl Cox

DETROIT CITY!
