Comment by Lars Maximus))) on May 31, 2012 at 9:56am I personally go to Wanda Jackson (still kickin at like 80 yo!), Chuck Berry, and Reverend Horton Heat for my rockabilly fix. Horrorpops are contemporary and have a great stand-up bass incorporation. Help me expand my pallette AP community!
Comment by Lars Maximus))) on May 31, 2012 at 9:54am Yeah rockabilly is one of those styles and subgenres that is so heavily indebted to history and the old-skool romance of fins, lowriders and traditional male/female roles that new music rarely sounds uniquely different from its influences.
