Conscious Ink

The Conscious Ink movement believes that the images of the underrepresented must be properly created and represented. The demonized and overly exoticized caricatures that have been passed off by the media, have poisoned the community, and caused alot of minds to misidentify with images that rob them of their creativity and lifeforce.



Purple Mag's Modern Myth Issue tackles the issue of our need for healthy Modern Myths annually, but there are more opportunities in the works for artists interested in art of the conscious variation for people of color.
