I'm sure you saw me. I was standing at the cocktail table with my much taller cousin. That was probably you who said something to me when the quintet was jamming after the poetry and we were all up front.

Yeah, when's the next event? I went to two shows the two nights before and I had to go home and sleep! Well PFunk I promise if I see you there next month I won't maddog you, I will actually say hello. Maybe we can find Blaqvenus there next month! I am bummed I missed that AND Fishbone in the same weekend, but the two shows I did go to were AWESEOME.

I was there but I don't know who I saw. I asked 3 different table groups if they were the Afro-Punk group and got looks like I was insane!! Oh well, I just hung around and checked it out. My fault. I forgot to get cell numbers when i was last around here.

There was only one female who did erotic poetry, one brotha came close but there was some spoken word about political and even child molestation but that just fucked up my buzz!!
The evening was backed by a splendid acoustic jazz horn quintet, They knew some tunes and opened it up afterwards with In Walked Bud, Well You Needn't and A Night in Tunisia. That was choice stuff!

So next month is supposed to feature more female poets.
