Kung Fu, Capoeira, Karate, Sambo, Shooto???

the past year Ive been boxing and working on my grappling. I'd like to participate in San Diego Total Combat MMA (no health insurance yet, lol) sooner or later, as my love for MMA increases everyday.

Yeah man I checked it that out, I've heard of it before but I heard it was a myth. It kinda looks like a combination of a modified sticky hands, western boxing with an emphasis on close quarter combat. I dig how it looks but I'd like to see an actual application of the 52 blocks in an MMA setting and see what it could possibly add to an MMA fighters repertoire. Definitely a good street self defense system if nothing else.

i practice/study 52 blocks From my understanding it is the only indigenous martial art form in the U.S. It's origins/history are some what shrouded in mystery but my understanding is that it was refined during the 1970's in the New York prison system but has existed since slavery if not originating in Africa. Ya'll should do the knowledge on it if interested.
Three years of Krav Maga
Yeah 52 blocks LOOKS like a combo of boxing, "dirty boxing", and wing chun. Most of the emphasis is on blocking and striking and fast hand movements.

52 Blocks is the truth
I studied Taekwondo for about a year until a year ago. Now pretty much everyone in my family is doing it but I can't afford it. I hope that I will be able to start again in a couple of months.

I've always wanted to try Muay Thai. Some day.
I study Shaolin Kung Fu
Baguazhang, Xing Yi Chaun, Capoeira. Had just a little Eskrima (same time slot as Bagua. Grrrrrrrrr...)
True dat. Know any good training DVDs of it? Tough for me to make it up to NY often.
