Great group idea.
I wore my hair in weaves for over 2 years and earlier on this year I took my weave out for the last time and I have been wearing my hair natural ever since
It wasnt easy at first - I had to get used to people being so shocked to see my hair looking so short but i'm over that now and I'm kinky and proud

I'm considering loc'n my short nappies. I love the feel of the short curly hairs when I rub my head. I had dreds a couple of years ago, but my hair is straight at the roots and curl in the middle & ends so my loc's would get longer then the straight roots would thin out instead of thickening so eventually they would break off at the roots. Now I'm willing to try again to see if they will last longer than 5 year.
