Permalink Reply by Gullah*Gotham*Glitter on June 10, 2011 at 11:42pm Well I would say it seems like you want to transition to natural over a long period of time.
I would recommend if you havent already, stop using heat on your hair: blow dryers, flat irons, and etc.
Next, find support either online, or build a support group.
hope this helps.

Permalink Reply by 1truCadenza on June 6, 2012 at 8:31pm i know its old but if you're still interested hydrotherapy, water is your friend its going to keep your new hair moisturized as well as give it some pliability for styles between the two textures. what i suggest is that you start getting into wet setting. if you can or are able to invest in some rollers and roller set your hair or you can "cheat set" it. when you've graduated into more new growth take sections and two strand twist your hair up until your natural hair stops and roller set the ends.
