please consider attending this art show at FAIRGRINDS coffee house in mid-city. my homegirls Sarah Sass Biscarra and Adee Roberson are having an opening for their art show, LET THE CURRENT HOLD YOU. they are queer women of color visionaries and they deserve your support. Adee was AfroPunk before the word existed. She's a musician (ex member of New Bloods) and a visual artist. Check out her art blog here: pineappleblack.blogspot.com. I'll be there too, and maybe this would make a good meeting place for all of y'all who've been talking about creating an AfroPunk scene here in New Orleans. i hope to see you there. xoxo

Louisiana! Come kick it with your neighbor punks from TX on March 6th for the Peekaboo Theory show at Crazy Frogs in Houston! Let's make something of the Southern scene....

Hey my people from New Orleans. If you haven't joined, please do check out ALT Art (Alternative Art) and post up your artwork or your favorite artists. Lets try to show New Orleans that not every Black person is into the streotypical New Orleans "Black Art"...this is all....kisses
