My daughter has it as well. It's flaring up again because I've turned the heat on and the air is dry. I don't use steroid creams and stuff on her, but I so slather Shea butter on her every day, sometimes twice a day depending on how dry her skin is. It helps loads.
Also, a lot of times skin disorders are caused/worsened by EFA (essential fatty acid) imbalances. I've given her Omega 3-6-9 supplements since she was two, and not only does it improve her skin health, but it's great for her (and our) neurological and cardiovascular health as well. But I've been in the homeopathic and nutritional supplement field for 11+ years, so yeah, lol. I recommend stuff like that for just about everything. lol

Oh, yeah, big WORD on the humidifier! Talk about a life saver!

both my babies have eczema, but i would assume not to the extent of your baby. my son would get really bad patches on his face and at the bends of his his arms and legs. his doc gave me a cream and it worked, but it discolored his skin. now i give him oatmeal baths followed by a deep massage with baby oil and a oatmeal based lotion after that. so far its keep it at bay. also when i do notice it trying to make a comeback i put him to bed with vaseline on the patches. really for him its all about keeping him moisture. he scratches a lot less when he stays moisturized. i hope this helps. oh yeah a humidifier!! dry air is the ENEMY!!

Muh kid is old an rusty at 4. :) She almost broke her neck trying to do some extreme self taught gymnastics today, but she landed so awesomely I couldn't really be mad. lol I think it's time I put her butt in some type of class of some sort.

Now your kids? Too cute! Could she look any more like you? The teefs on that little one look all sharp and pointy, and I'm scared. lol
