For me, Shingai Shoniwa (musical genius- seriously), Honeychild Coleman, Aunt Keke, Tamar Kali, and OMG are legendary talents; all different in their own right, and startingly unique. Dragons of Zynth, Dwarfstarr, and No Surrender are also vibrantly ethereal and inspirational to the independent heart.

I had tears in my eyes watching her perform Afropunk '08. She commands the stage. Never seen anything like it *_^
