WHAT IS AFROPUNK ARMY?

Do you go to shows and parties like it’s your job? Do you know kids who are AFROPUNK and don’t even know it? Then be an ambassador and join our AFROPUNK Army to spread the movement in your town. New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Toronto, D.C or wherever you may be, push culture forward!

WORKING ON A PROJECT?

AFROPUNK wants to help you if you are a writer, photographer, artist, musician, designer, promoter or even just a supporter to get your idea off the ground. If you have a concept for a film, photo project, campus rally or anything creative and fun, join our army and use our resources to make it happen in your community!

Why?

Since the release of the AFROPUNK film in 2003, the AFROPUNK lifestyle has grown far beyond a film into a strong movement of D.I.Y. progressive people of color. Be a part of a new generation of AFROPUNKS on the path less-traveled and help spread the AFROPUNK message, beliefs and lifestyle to the rest of the world. So that people understand that being different doesn't mean being alone.
