andre 3000 breaks the internet with 2 new tracks honoring his late parents

Causing Outkast fans across the world heads to explode, Andre 3000 surprised everyone with two new tracks for Mother’s Day. The first track, the soul-baring “Me&My (To Bury Your Parents) and the supreme “Look Ma No Hands”. Touching and unexpected tributes to his parents who passed away in 2013 and 2014, respectively. 3000 took to SoundCloud and even created a new Instagram account to post the handwritten lyrics to “Me&My (To Bury Your Parents) alongside photos of his childhood with him and his mother, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo, and text messages the two exchanged on his 37th birthday, the day before she died.

“I’m sure all the cards, dinners, flowers and last minute gifts are appreciated but I’ve learned the best gift a parent could get is to simply know their child is ok,” he captioned one of the posts on Instagram.”
