Ballerina Michaela DePrince

Shout out to Ballerina Michaela DePrince, who made her professional full ballet debut, in 'Le Corsaire', as a guest artist of Mzansi Productions and South African Ballet Theatre, two of South Africa's biggest dance companies.
DePrince lived in Sierra Leone during the country's civil war and was later adopted by an American family.
