Afro-punk & Rip The Runway

As we all know Afro-punk has a love/hate relationship with BET :-P But our good girlfriend Michaela Angela Davis (image activist) asked us for a solid: to cast members of our community in a promo spot for BET’s fashion special - Rip the Runway. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to show the world what we’re about.
We invited old and new friends Ninjasonik, Coco and Breezy, Jersey Clan, Rog Walker, Urban Bush Babies, Keith too Black to be White, Amber Alexander, Javanelle Lawrence from Black Fashion Blog to come out, party with us and let BET film it and here is the result...
