When I first heard of this a while back my heart broke for the homeless man. I almost didn't want to comment on here because of the rage and anger that I feel about it. The only comfort that I get (and hopefully Roy Brown feels the same) is that in the end the judges will get their own judgment day just like everyone else.
hmm that's a little excessive on the homeless mans part...CEO was white and had money..i can say that with an unwavering confidence.
They both some crooks the difference is one is smart enough to afford the best lawyers before they steal! The beautiful corporate hustle...
This is AmeriKKKa, if you are poor you go into the prison complex to supply slave labor while the corporate criminals get slapped on the wrist. Everyone needs to share this. Here is a petition for Mr. Brown's freedom:
Corporate crimes are looked at very differently so I am not surprised at a light sentencing for Mr.Allen. My issue is with the obvious lack of compassion the judge had for a man who obviously has a hard life and who committed a crime practically out of necessity and then turned himself in. A year in a really good rehab would have done far more for Mr. Brown as a member of society then just attempting to ship him off to disappear into the jail system for 15 years. I think someone should look into the judge who tried Mr. Browns case and there needs to be an appeal ASAP.
