If ‘Z is for Zora’ sounds familiar, it might be because you’ve heard about Dr. Tamara Pizzoli’s other children’s picture book, ‘K is for Kahlo’. The second installment in her series of inclusive and educational alphabet books, ‘Z is for Zora: An Alphabet Book of Notable Writers from Around the World’ is a child-friendly tool for youngsters to learn about, well, notable writers of color. That’s right, this isn’t your typical Euro-centric literary appreciation book, ‘Zora’ features Toni Morrison, Paolo Coehlo, Rupi Kaur and Maya Angelou,  Sonia Sanchez, Nikki Giovanni, Langston Hughes, and more, with illustrations by Howell Edwards Creative.

‘Z is for Zora’ is available for purchase, here.
