About Me: Here's the sentimental version: Two childhood friends got together by chance to jam together. One had just started playing guitar and writing songs, while the other had been playing for a couple years. They then found their bassist. After 2 drummers and a vocalist, they found their drummer.

Here's the awesome version: TONY AND GEOFF GOT TOGETHER AND PLAYED, THEN TONY CALLED DAVID, THEN WE WENT THROUGH 2 DRUMMERS AND A 2ND VOCALIST, THEN TONY CALLED JONNY AND THEN THEY WERE 2214. BUT SOMEBODY ELSE HAD THAT NAME, SO THEY BECAME TARFU.

CoalHearted Intertainment LLC, FreshGeek Entertainment and A.C.E.'S and 8'S are launching a new Competitive Talent Showcase here in the DMV.

Multi Genre showcase/ competition series featuring new and up and coming talent. Part Apollo and X Factor and the VOICE this competition series invites artists of all musical genres to take the stage. The audience votes on the participants each night and a winner will be announced based on audience voting. Winners are invited back each week until they are unseated and every 4 months there will be a champions showcase.

There will be nightly prizes that enhance the business an craft of the artists. Including Studio time, Video and/or Photo Shoots, Meetings with Promoters and Industry executives, Placement on a Digital Album to be released internationally at the end of the season and more!

There will be a registration fee of $7.00 which is the entry fee for general public however acts bringing 5 or more supporters will have free entry.

First date is November 14th 2012
