I'm intrigued by the old literary definition of gothic. The blending of terror and romance, fortress ruins, cold and shady places, and things that go bump in the night. The supernatural, ghosts, the occult, gothic architecture, castles, decay, madness, the sublime, graveyard poetry, Byronic heroes, persecuted maidens, madwomen, vampyres, werewolves, and demons.

Obsessed with thinking; the evolution of community; the brilliant beauty of individual subjectivities; enthralled by complexity and I'm fascinated by people.

I can't say much more without coming across as a paragon of contradiction: I'm an eccentric who relishes the body; lives and breathes God; an incorrigible narcisexist who values compassion over intellect; I believe love is the ultimate criterion of truth. I live for good conversation! I trust uncertainty, don't care for irony, and believe that paradox is a profound measure of truth.
