There comes a time in every bands life when they must ask their selves “what are we doing?” Yeah we know life gets rough but, it’s the music that makes you want to
forget about that sorry stuff. What are we doing? We are playing music!! Music that makes us dance, makes us sing, makes us want to keep playing songs for you with every entangled organ we own. We’ve heard the sad stuff and that just isn’t going to do. Truly ask yourself, look deep inside you and search for the answer… when was the last time you got your face painted? When was the last time you danced to some fun rock, baby? Tomorrow the light bill is due, but tonight we dance.

BABY BABY formed in the summer of 2009 and from there, greatness. It all started after a day at the pool. Fontez (guitar) and Grant (drums) set up a make-shift practice at their shared apartment, noise violations in pursuit but, there it was. Three months later, Kyle was
added in on bass and the band made their first EP, self-recorded in a cabin with an iMac. Most recently, Colin has joined the crew, adding an additional percussion element to the band. Having already had the pleasure and honor of opening up for bands O' Brother, Company of Thieves, Annuals, The Winter Sounds, we have never been more thrilled about anything… EVER. Fusing together styles from Black Kids, Manchester Orchestra, and Prince, BABY BABY tries to make their own sound; something new, something dancy, something fun. We call it Fun Rock™. Fused by a love for music and a love for the stage, Carrollton (Georgia) has helped make the live shows some of the best moments in our entire lives. Our first EP Drinking, Drama, Dance helped pave the way, but we've never been more proud of our newest LONG LIVE THE SWAGMONSTA (produced by Eric Friar). There's a little green swagmonsta living in all of us and you need to let it escape! This is a record about us learning what we love to do and how we'll do anything to get it. Do what you love and love what you do. Seriously.
In the DIY spirit, we are booking gigs throughout the States for April, May and June and want to gig in your town. Might you be interested in co-producing a show with us? Pretty much, you pick the best place, small venues (200 cap.), and we work out development and marketing together. Great opportunity to bring some Black rockers to your town, and we may even make a little gas money. Also, as Founder and Creative Director of LA PUNK NOIR, I am able to provide your band with exposure via our Official site, as well, as host a performance before an enthusiastic LPN crowd, should you have an interest in coming to L.A. Any help/advice would be great.
