I just got a copy of an album that one of my younger cousins put out. The name of his band is Black Joe Lewis & The HoneyBears. The sound is East Texas Juke-Joint blues with a punk edge. He's 22 years old and he's gigging all over. He's the singer and lead guitarist. Here is his myspace:

Okay, I guess I have to say it. My daughter won a pageant last night. She is the regional Queen of CYF (the youth group for Christian Methodist Episcopal churches.) Now, at the outset I have to say that this whole pageant thing pissed me off. Because of it, she was going to miss playing in 4 softball games and my son would miss one of his baseball games.
