Brandon Jerrod is an American born singer/songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. Brandon has performed for crowds of thousands, recording with leading professionals in the music industry, and trained under some of the biggest names in entertainment. His start in music came at an early age performing at local festivals and talent shows in Chicago. His talent then catapulted him to move to Atlanta, where he began his journey in music. While in Atlanta, Brandon was discovered by Grammy Award winning producer Daron Jones of the legendary R&B group 112. Here he received heavy mentorship, and gained a knowledge of the ins-and-outs of the music biz. He was signed as a part of DPS Productions R&B recording group ‘Premier’. While in the group, Brandon was able to perform, promote, and record at top venues, studios, and work with veteran entertainment alumni. The group ‘Premier’ was invited by Coca Cola to perform at the 2009 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana for an audience of over 5,000 people. Their song ‘Make it Rain’ made it to the Top 200 of the iTunes R&B Charts that same year. In 2012, Brandon made the leap from group member to solo artist. Since his departure he has been working in the studio with Belgium hit producer Treshku and MTV’s ‘Making the Band’ alumni Random Wright. Brandon now resides in New York City and is working to release his debut EP at the top of the year 2013. His sound is defined by fusing rhythmic House beats with Pop/R&B melodies. Brandon Jerrod is truly an artist on the rise.
