About Me
A cultural polymath, for over a decade Courtnee Roze vast understanding of what excites and inspires has kept her on the cutting edge of music. Beginning her career in New York City Courtnee Roze is recognized as one of the most multi talented entertainers in today’s music industry. Her ability to write, produce, arrange and play live music is what sets Courtnee Roze apart from the rest. People are describing Roze’s musical touch as “authentic;” while Courtnee calls it “The New Era of Rock.” Courtnee Roze released a new single “Bang Bang Boogie” and it’s available in itunes stores now.

Courtnee Roze’s musical heros are Prince, Sheila E., Michael Jackson, The Beatles, James Brown, Jimi Hendrix and many other great artist. She’s been studying and playing percussion since the age of 7. Her sound is innovative, eclectic and divers. It’s highly influenced by Hip Hop, fusion, pop and rock & roll. Although Courtnee song writing gift is very noticeable; her percussion ability takes percussion to new heights.
Her instruments of choice are Djembe from Guinea West Africa, Timbales from Cuba and Conga’s which is a Cuban drum with African antecedents. Roze has spent more and more time molding her craft then anything else. She spends nights in the recording studio working on a music design that’s untouchable. Roze’s You Tube channel, Myspace, face book, live stage performance and most recently Twitter have been the biggest contributors to her growing fan base. Roze releases content that brings fans into her life as a musician. Her energy and creative spontaneity have earned her the respect from those Inside and out of the music industry. Courtnee loves to experiment with sound, and has always been highly supportive and very enthusiastic about sonic ideas. If you were to imagine and paint the wildest idea a person could ever come up with, then you would be painting an musical image of Courtnee Roze. Courtnee Roze is an overall entertainer, a visionary and she's way beyond her time. In this male dominated music industry Courtnee’s “take charge” way of thinking has allow her to perform on many great stages. Roze has a vision that entails hard work and a “world stars” mentality.
