- Cottonseed Mini Bio:
Cottonseed is a duo consisting of Maria Diamantis and Vince Allen. With wide ranging influences that include Bjork,The Doors,Fishbone, and Hendrix. Our songs are never preconceived but allowed to build themselves. Ending in anything from flamenco influenced acoustic to a metal based electric/electronic set. Come out to a show and enjoy.
C.P. TIME Mini Bio:
Raised on R&B (as most of us probably were) then introduced to rock through an Uncle. Then realizing that guitars could make a lot more sounds than I was used to thanks to Hendrix,and Van Halen my destiny was set. My influences now include everything from those Hendrix and VanHalen tunes to BiIly Strayhorn,Monk,James Mankey(Concrete Blonde),Larry LaLonde (Primus), and country/blue grass guitar players. So I can enjoy playing Satin Doll as much as playing through something like Meshuggah's "Bleed".
Long story short, I love music. Even the cd's i have from other countries where I have no idea what they're saying. And the beauty of Brothaz & Sistaz out there musically doin' something other than "what we should be doin'".
