One comment I'd like to make: NOBODY LIKES "EVERY TYPE OF MUSIC". I understand that you-me-we have a wide scope of music, that's very true and wonderful. But NOBODY'S HEARD EVERY TYPE OF MUSIC.
I've heard too much in my life and I know ain't heard jack.
Please pardon my rant but this goes right in there with condescending "No TV" crap I hear too much of. I believe there's quality in most all forms of music that you can dig.

If you want to Cliff Note some of that metal info, check out a movie called Get Thrashed on netflix. It's excellent. Also, beware of negative outlooks. I love metal, but there is a lot of negativity within the genre.
