Hey -- I'm a bit of a shy old geezer, but I've been opening up and sharing my opinions a little more lately. There's a forum on "Afro-punk Loneliness" I replied to several days ago and there have been others. I also have a blog that I've been cultivating, too -- I just started it last month (http://confessionsofanoldpunkchick.blogspot.com/)...there's a lot of things I'd like to share and talk about, especially being a punk of color way back in the 70's and 80's and being an activist for over 30 years. I'm pondering the idea of maybe trying to gather my ideas and memories into some sort of book, but I'm not there yet. A few sweet old friends here keep encouraging me, but I'm still thinking it over. There might not have been as many of us as the kids nowadays, but, damnit, we were there and we added our voices and efforts to the incredible stuff that was happening. I don't know how young/old you are, but if you're closer to us over40 geezers, there's an "over30" group here where we have a laugh and chat from time to time. Take care x0x
