Single Minded Pros, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, The Roots, The Strokes, Saidah Baba Talibah, Wu-Tang Clan,Hed PE, The Rapture, Les Nubians, Fitz and the Tantrums...a lot.

Favorite movies:

City of God, Devil in a Blue Dress, LA Confidential, Predator 2, Tombstone, Silverado, The Dark Knight, New Jack City, Malcolm X, Love Jones, Friday, Harlem Nights, and Patlabor the Movie. I mean there's more, but I like a mix. A good drama, action, sci-fi or comedy is fine by me. Or a horror movie where the Black guy/girl doesn't get killed.

Favorite books:

Too many to name, so I'll go by author; Walter Mosley, Zora Neale Hurston, Richard Wright, H.L. Mencken, Ishmael Reed, Linda Addison, a lot actually. Feel free to recommend good books in the comments.

Favorite Magazines:

Black Enterprise, GQ, Shonen Jump. Although when no one's looking I'll read Essence, because everything they print about women is true. Isn't it?

Favorite TV shows:

Hell on Wheels, Justified, Boondocks, Law & Order Re-runs, and Bones, my guilty pleasure. I used to watch cartoons a lot more, but they've pretty much sucked since the 90s ended.
