But there are some moments where regardless of your respect, some people do things that will inspire sympathy for the other team. Which means that if one wants to gain respect, we have to earn it to a degree.

The point of the piece was to try and have a clearer understanding of what that word even means in society. What I wanted to say was that I thought it had less to do with your sexuality than it being a selling point. Or anything that defines what people know about or see in you. I may not beca female, but I know it sucks to have that. My thought was maybe there can be some simple adjustment that could keep that at bay. But regardless of reasoning, that word is no less ugly than the n word. So, you think I should take it down?
