About Me
NYC’s Prince Terrence is the leader, creator and mastermind of this dark musical phenomenon. After touring the world over as drummer for acts like Santigold, Spank Rock, Hearts Revolution, and Major Lazer, he is now giving life to a project all his own.

The eerie musical styling of Hussle Club’s dark punk and no wave songs are undefinable and fresh. They perfectly echo the streets and the trials and tribulations of the present generation. Born in the projects of Detroit, raised in Louisville, Kentucky where he worked for a punk label, Prince Terrence has made his way to the top in all aspects. The pinnacle being, surviving in New York City by simply doing what he does best, playing music. He has seen all aspects of music from the bottom to the top and has a story to tell. Playing every single instrument himself on Hussle Club recordings, he is creating a lifelong soundtrack.

In his own words "Hussle Club is for everyone on this same path, people that devote their lives and make sacrifices in order to live life as they wish and use their talent to defy the 'system' by living a life that is non-conventional and coming out on top. It's for the artists, the painters, the dj's, the musicians, the rappers, the pushers, the graffiti writers, etc. Hussle Club is for everyone and I'm just supplying the soundtrack."

Hussle Club Interview at MOOKS.COM

Posted on January 22, 2010 at 8:00pm 0 Comments

"Prince Terrence is the sort of friend you meet and wonder why you hadn’t met them before. Although we live in the same city, frequent the same parties, and share many of the same friends, it wasn’t until Winter Music Conference in Miami two years ago that we would meet...."

Hussle Club Remixes Up! Felix Cartal & Bird Peterson. Available through RCRD LBL

"Well, this one is obviously quite the mouthful. A condensed explanation, then: Hussle Club is Prince Terrence–NYC nightlife fixture, drummer for Santigold, Spank Rock, HEARTSREVOLUTION and others, and now his own solo creative entity. "I Have High Expectations..." is his first single as Hussle Club, a beguiling convergence of punk's agitation and downtown pop's affected strut. It's also been passed over to RCRD LBL… Continue

What up Rockers!

Lord Q here, Founder of LA PUNK NOIR and LAPUNKNOIR.com. In an effort to promote Black and Brown bands and artists that don’t fit within the narrow perceptions of mainstream radio, I have started an online show, LPN RADIO. I am writing to ask that your band submit songs and links to your site to be featured on the show.

As you may be aware, LPN is the hub of West Coast Alternative Urban music, news and style. For bands and artists that Black radio has no room for and mainstream radio is afraid of, the LPN platform is available to you. LPN RADIO features alternative urban bands in the genres of rock, punk, metal and alternative hip-hop. I am also interested in introducing your band, via the LPN interview series, Q:15, a daily 15 minute segment, where two songs of featured guests are played, with an interview in between.

If your band is interested in these opportunities, follow the submission guidelines:
  • Submit 2 songs in mp3 format
  • Link to band’s site
  • Contact information of band representative, and

mail to: lapunknoir@gmail.com.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,
Lord Q

Hey M, I would looooooooove to come, but I currently live between Paris and Martinique, so I won't be able to make it on March 12th. Be in touch though, I might show up unexpectedly one day with my suitcase and ring your door bell! Moving in! haha Nah, but seriously I might move back to NY one day. We'll see.
Glad you made it home safe after this long drive. :)
