Iniah, pronounced I-knee-yah, is a rising young star from North Philadelphia. Iniah is a smooth but bold soul singer representing R&B, Neo-soul and Jazz. Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, and N’dambi are just a few of the artists she praises.
As little child, Iniah was filled with soulful music, and a powerful voice that shocked many. Growing up in the church, she received her musical background from her mother and grandmother who were also singers. Iniah studied music at Delaware State University. In her busy life, this young sister managed to co-found a black sorority on the campus of Delaware State University called Chi Rho Gamma on April 10, 2008.
