For which it stands: one nation of deception & defeat
I’ve always known pride, I never saw how yours was any worth to me
They say this life isn’t a penalty for purging, just concentrate intangible dreams
Well, what we can touch has been stained so anything that’s out of reach’s
gotta be “in management“, clean

A sole figure leans,
beckoned to the approach of someone else’s stance
& mind

Oh the perils of wanting shelter at the price of losing self
Dispersed into the picture of a noxious upper shelf
Nurture & Languish
Serrated ideas that can’t see beyond the known
Baiting, trapping, & “knowing” the unknown,
losing ourselves…

A Shell & A Ghost To Which These Eyes View As Pace
Buried Between Glass Ceilings & The Silence Of Space
of matter & waste

…White Horse, Red Horse, Black Horse, Pale Horse

Do they always appear when you’re at your worst intent?
Our “comforting” voice has been silenced as fear &
patience sends a vision of virtue & content
Crown & Bow, Sword, Scales in hand, Hades followed behind
These broken seals are evidence that this “comfort” is the mind

The slab being shaped & in my stead
it has awakened in stance
& mind

The shame of never knowing & always wanting for depth
Immersed inside of regurgitated thought & the spirit rendered bereft
Ideas & Idols
Calculated passion can’t help to see the unknown
It can only help the known
