Made Out Of Babies, Oxbow, Neurosis, PJ Harvey, The Mighty Bellrays, Tom Waits, The Birthday Party,...I love a variety of sounds but they all matter in different ways and moods. I love UK grime, noise rock, classic soul/R&B, dark cabaret, folk/freak folk, ambient/glitch/soundscapes,...genres and labels are arbitrary and overly dependant upon!

Favorite movies:

Too numerous. I had a trip-induced epiphany that the common strain between all my favorite films clusters down to 2 characteristics: 1) the growth and struggle for identity/survival counter to mob mentality/status quo (Johnny Guitar is a classic Nicholas Ray example); or 2) the bonds between friends, especially black sheeps (The Edukators)

Octavia Butler (I felt like I should start with a great Black writer), Hermann Hesse, Jack Keruoac, Wislawa Szymborska, Flannery O'Conner (cuz I'm always and forever a Georgia boy!), Eugene Robinson, Chuck Palahniuk, Henry Rollins, Dennis Johnson, Dune fantasy series (epic!)
