I rock, and I'm black. I'm conscious and fully aware of the world around me. I do not believe in a 'raceless' society because I love my race and the uniqueness of it, and there is nothing wrong with that. If you take that as me having some kind of 'racist' mind set...who gives a fuck! This is America not smerfsville, wake the hell up. Let me add- I respect all races, and i like to learn about other cultures, and groups of people. The planet is beautiful because of it's variety, like a garden. How boring it would be if we truly were all the same. So, i am far from closed mined. But love for self and where, and who you come from is totally natural.
You can be my friend if...
If you are not some Oreo, just because i am labeled an 'alternative' black chick does not mean I'm some token type of individual, who goes out of their way to impress or make her white friends feel comfortable simply for the sake of being excepted(and we all know these types of black people lol). But the white friends that i do have are cool as hell, open minded, and not totally oblivious. Or else, it would be impossible for us to get along. I can get along with all people, as well as mingle and respect all people but I will always be me- at all times.
