About Me
I am fascinated with heroic images and the powerful iconography that they possess. Those who have the power to influence us and make decisions that impact our way of life. In my work I capture some of the most powerful and influential people in our history, and transform them in to some of the most powerful beings in superhero allegory!!! "With great power comes great responsibility." Excelsior!

If one gets close enough, zooms in to get an intimate look, can the color black become pixelated? Pixelating is a series of five curatorial projects taking place in various formats from November 17, 2011 to February 25, 2012. Under the overarching theme of Pixelating, the curatorial series highlights the discreet elements that directly challenge notions of a universal Black identity.

another interesting thing to note, is that in west africa, they have the concept of chi under an indigenous name. also, there are parallels between the i-ching, and the ifa divination system of the yoruba. the ifa system is more complicated as there are 256 variants, as opposed to 64, etc. great artwork, by the way!
