A disturbing trend.

Current mood: inquisitive

Lately more and more (black) people I know are starting to hate their own race. Rather, they hate the way certain people who are part of their race are acting but decide to say "I hate my race!" instead. I totally understand. I don't like the fact that the Straight-From-Tha-Hood black stereotype is embraced, and loved, in the media, although the Nerd-Who-Could've-Told-You-Back-When-That-He-Was-Cool black stereotype is emerging from… Continue

Currently watching Obama kick ass......*does a happy dance*

Has anyone who's still posting on my big-fat-mouth-couldn't-stay-shut discussion noticed that I gave up? I didn't mean to start a war, as someone put it------I just expressed myself and this is what it lead to. IDK, y'all can keep fighting if you want to, but I'll probably find something else that pisses me off and flap my mouth about it.

To everyone who was offended by the fact that I thought someone was trying to attack us: I give up. Obviously it just pisses people off when I speak up. I'm angry and I'm sorry, okay? Excuse me for being caring. Excuse me for wanting to defend us. You see, you all AREN'T insignficant in my life. This is supposed to be a brother-and-sister type of community; you know, where we all support each other and talk. But hey, if folks want me to shut up, I will.

Hi! My name is Jay B. Walker A.K.A. Zyyro. I am an artist, activist and director in film and tv who left the security of working in TV in NYC to keep my sister's ATL based non-profit alive. .A passion for change fuels my life. It fueled my sister's life too. She was a Doctor, Classical Singer and a Filmaker Educated at Howard University. A true Renaissance woman.

From Medicine to Music to Movies.....she did it all and started a non-profit in ATL to create excitement about learning through teaching film production. She supported it out of her pocket from 1997 til passing away in April 2008. I am attemptinng to keep her dream alive and continue making "CHANGE" a reality. I need your help though.

The logo and pics you see are of the 1st edition of my "CHANGE SHIRT" COLLECTION. A black vintage t-shirt that celebrates this new day and time. We've made a drastic change in Washington...we can make a drastic change in the world! I am attempting to do my part.
