I am an artist, activist and director in film and tv who left the security of working in TV in NYC to keep my sister's ATL based non-profit alive. .A passion for change fuels my life. It fueled my sister's life too. She was a Doctor, Classical Singer and a Filmaker Educated at Howard University. A true Renaissance woman.

From Medicine to Music to Movies.....she did it all and started a non-profit in ATL to create excitement about learning through teaching film production.She supported it out of her pocket from 1997 til passing away in April 2008. So, regardless if you got it or not, they've had an impact on your life. I just choose to honor that. Some people are completely ignorant of the luxuries they possess or obtain that were a creation of their own bloodline. I am ignorant on a lot of my ancestry but at least I want to know. Some people go on throughout their entire life not knowing where they came from...which really means they had no clue where they were going; they're going nowhere, fast.

I celebrate my culture by adorning myself with similar objects like body piercings, tattoos, and soon scarification. We should never forget our past in our quest for the future or we will be doomed to repeat ourselves, and who wants to reinvent the wheel?

Now, I have a question for you...why not adorn yourself with the materials of the earth, from which you came?
