a pam grier biopic is in the works!

Pam Grier might be synonymous with the 70’s, but her journey as an artist isn’t anywhere near over yet! Following the publication of her memoir Foxy: My Life in Three Acts in 2010, the starlet is now working on a biopic with the working title Pam. The film boasts a script by Bennie Richburg and has SNL alum Jay Pharoah attached to play her former lover Richard Pryor.

Telling Deadline that she met Pharoah when they were recording voices for the video game Infinity Wars, Grier recalls, “I watched him and heard his voice and closed my eyes and said, ‘It’s Richard.’”
