@ Darkness Unlimited: If you read my post it's all about minorities being profiled in general. There's no self-loathing here, only self love. I especially love the 1% of genetic information that makes us black folks. I do not have to…

And for all of you talking about people's rights: Our constitution has been rendered null and void. It no longer applies. The Bill of Rights, The Amendments... all that means nothing in case you forgot, we live in the U.S.A. Obama and all the…

bottom line: That shit looks really stupid. It's not a 'fashion', it's a joke. In the 1970s and '80s inmates wore their pants like that to let other prisoners know they were available to be fucked. How and why this trend has…

Most "farmers" are basically indentured servants (aka loan-slaves for life). Watch the film Food Inc, if you haven't. The bulk of our nation's food is grown on commercial farms... by four companies! These companies have a…

@ PHACTZ I know quite a bit about agriculture. I grow lots of food and have started community gardens. I've done my homework. It's really simple. Chemical companies sell chemical pesticides, chemical fertilizers, etc. That's why…

CAUTION: Using your brain is NOT endorsed by governments, religious institutions, educational institutions and corporations involved with serious power and financial profit obtained from a brainwashed/enslaved population. Discomfort may occur as confusing independent thought challenges your current view of the world. Use your brain, think for yourself and question authority. What up Rockers!

Lord Q here, Founder of LA PUNK NOIR and LAPUNKNOIR.com. In an effort to promote Black and Brown bands and artists that don’t fit within the narrow perceptions of mainstream radio, I have started an online show, LPN RADIO. I am writing to ask that your band submit songs and links to your site to be featured on the show.

As you may be aware, LPN is the hub of West Coast Alternative Urban music, news and style. For bands and artists that Black radio has no room for and mainstream radio is afraid of, the LPN platform is available to you. LPN RADIO features alternative urban bands in the genres of rock, punk, metal and alternative hip-hop. I am also interested in introducing your band, via the LPN interview series, Q:15, a daily 15 minute segment, where two songs of featured guests are played, with an interview in between.

If your band is interested in these opportunities, follow the submission guidelines:
  • Submit 2 songs in mp3 format
  • Link to band’s site
  • Contact information of band representative, and

mail to: lapunknoir@gmail.com.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,
Lord Q
