Hi! My name is Jay B. Walker A.K.A. Zyyro. I have a friend who’s just in love with Moby’s music. I like it too… It’s really good, just not my favorite.
Yes, Natalie does have great range. She was good in the ‘Star Wars’ films, and I absolutely LOVED her in ‘Cold Mountain’, ‘Closer’, and ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’. But I will say I really didn’t like her in ‘Garden State’, ‘V For Vendetta’, or ‘The Darjeeling Limited’, she just didn’t fit the characters in those roles to me.
Yes, Shia really is emerging now. I’ve always been a fan of him. All his tiny comedic appearances in Blockbuster films always cracked me up. And then he lands the ‘Disturbia’ role along with becoming Steven Spielberg’s pet which was brilliant, when that happened I was ecstatic, and he’s been growing ever sense.
‘New York, I Love You’ has such star power it’s unbelievable. Not only is it graced with Shia and Natalie, but it’s got Hayden Christensen, Orlando Bloom, Kevin Bacon, Ethan Hawk, and one of my other all time favorites Anton Yelchin. Anton is so outstanding it’s hard to use words to describe him. But much to my dismay ‘New York, I Love You’ also has Rachel Bilson, I’m not a fan what so ever of her.
‘Twilight’ does look good. One of my good friends had read the book and has been looking forward to this film for a VERY long time.
And yes… I have a MySpace and a Facebook. But I don’t have a Flixter. I’ll add you on my MySpace account.
Yes… M. Night Shyamalan does seem to get very bad critics. I too love his films. ‘Unbreakable’, ‘Signs’, And ‘Lady In The Water’ were his best in my eyes. ‘The Village’ was pretty good, but definitely not his best. And ‘The Happening’ should have never been made, I feel very bad saying that due to the fact I’m a giant fan of his, but it was just that bad to me.
I have the same taste in music as does Zach Braff. For my ‘Untitled Dream Project’ I have tons of music in mind for the score. I’m thinking some Joshua Radin, Ingrid Michaelson, Sia, George Winston, Clint Mansell, Priscilla Ahn, Death Cab For Cutie… and more. George Winston, Clint Mansell, and Death Cab For Cutie I’m not sure if Zach likes or not, but the rest I know he’s giant fans of, as am I.
No, I actually didn’t know about the screening at the ‘Main Art Theater’ with Diablo being there. If I would have known I would have been them. Darn. :(
Hmmm. The next movie I’m looking forward to? There are several actually, ‘Eagle Eye’, ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’, ‘New York, I Love You’, ‘Blindness’, ‘Avatar’, ‘Interstellar’, and the ‘Untitled Jason Bourne Project’.
I look forward to ‘Eagle Eye’ and ‘New York, I Love You’ because not only do they look fantastic, but I am a giant fan of Shia, and he’s in both. ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’ and ‘Blindness’ just look fantastic beyond belief. ‘Avatar’ I look forward to due to the fact it’s James Cameron’s next film AND it has my very favorite actor of all time in it, Giovanni Ribisi. ‘Interstellar’ is a project of none other than the awe inspiring Steven Spielberg. And ‘Untitled Jason Bourne Project’ is the next Bourne film… I have to look forward to that, I’m in love with the Bourne franchise.
How about you? What upcoming films do you look forward to?
I've heard of 'Movie Magic Screenwriter'. But I use 'Final Draft .7'. It makes writing a screen play so much easier doesn't it? Did you go to school to learn the format for a script? I didn't, I've been using Christopher Riley's 'The Hollywood Standard'. It's fantastic.
I actually haven't seen 'Before Sunrise'. But I've heard nothing but good things about it. And I absolutely LOVE 'Garden State'. Zach Braff is one of my very strong inspirations for what I do and what I want to do.
My style of film is close to 'Garden State', 'White Oleander', 'Juno', 'Stephanie Daley' and 'Sherrybaby'. Just mesh those all into a ball and you have what I like to write.
I’m also a giant fan of M. Night Shyamalan. His climax scene’s are what I strive to reach as well.
I’m currently writing an independent film that me and my friends are going to shoot. My goal is to get it complete finished… written, filmed, edited… everything by the end of next May to submit to the Tribeca Film Festival contest. It’s half way written, but unnamed. It’s currently my ‘Untitled Dream Project’.
