WE'RE GOING TO THE SHOW!

Posted on January 7, 2009 at 11:17am 0 Comments

Hello Hello. Hopefully everyone had a wonderful holiday season. We hope that Santa gave you the gift you wanted this year (a new fire truck, an acoustic guitar, maybe even rent money) and that your New Year's was filled with reasonable resolutions. Tendaberry ended up playing a house party for a friend of ours in Atlanta on New Year's Eve. We have possibly known her almost as long as the band's been together. We thank Kristin for letting us play and making some new friends.

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday filled with you're mom's cooking, NFL games, and store discounts because of Black Friday.

We just found out lat night when the band was conversing with Chuck Lightning of the Wondaland Art Society that Janelle Monae is nominated for a Grammy for her single "Many Moons". Congrats to her and the whole W.A.S. crew. Also, our fellow Radiant Kid, Small Eyez, is nominated for Musician of the Year by the Chozen Awards so congrats to… Continue

The past couple of weeks have been interesting. Who would have known that Young Jeezy's song "My President is Black" would have been an anthem? Who would have known the new Kanye West album would have leaked out so early? Who would have known that the Atlanta Falcons would have a record over .500?

We've recently have been backing and playing with a hiphop group called Mach5. It's an Atlanta based group with an alternative flavor that everyone can enjoy. On Saturday we a show with… Continue

I Ain’t No Joke

The past couple of weeks have been an experience in itself. We had the chance to go to our Alma mater of Morehouse College for homecoming. It was great to see our friends and catch up on our lives. You have a different perspective on your experience in college once you have become a graduate. Some things you miss and some you definitely never want to deal with again, but all in all, it's worth it. There is nothing that can really replace the… Continue

I Change Will do You Good...I Always Knew it Would...

Aubrey O'Day and D. Woods have been kicked out of Danity Kane (oh no!!!), Babs, Murda Mook, and Lady Luck have a pretty freestyle session on worldstarhiphop (awesomeness), and the Red Sox are being manhandled by the Tampa Bay Rays (don't mention this to Carlton, he's quiet upset).

We recently had a chance to play at the Atlanta Ice House with Timber, Mad Happy, The Extraordinary Contraptions, and Tristen. Everyone brought their own brand of fantastic music to the stage and the… Continue
