Flaming Lips & Erykah Badu - The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

"Not feeling this one, but I hope they work on some more material because the Flaming Lips are exceptional songwriters. Badu singing should take it over the top; it's not their strong area. The nudity in this instance just seems gimmicky."

Seek Vocalist, Basist, Drums or to Join Band | Philly Area

I'm a guitarist/songwriter, sometimes producer whose style is influenced by the Blues Rock, Jazz, Trip Hop, Old School and some new school Hip Hop. Looking to hook up a dark textured Soul Rock; Trippy Rock band.

I'm an old head, saw Bad Brains at their peek in 87, so I'm looking for individuals with a mature attitude, preferably over 24 yrs old. See samples on my profile, but not trying to sound like that. Check me out on…

Hi,

I don't get your pov at the white rock thread regarding morrissey having been a member of the united front, the communist party of britain. He's been accused of beeing a racist cause he'd been insensitive on the chinese animal treatment matter. Calling them a subspecies. But that's not the point, is it ?

I don't consider communism a bad idea - in general - most def.

Cheers

Bro, I agree with what you put on the OWS site.. White people are starting to see how it is to get by with their incomes dwindling. We've been living in this situation for years. That's why they are out there protesting. But I was telling my fellow afropunk friend that let one of those white protesters break away from the crowd, walk into a bank and you turn around and they own the shit! What the hell are they crying about?! Your right, we/they need to address the fact that we are getting pushed out of our neighborhoods.. I see it happening in Atlanta..

hey deke! we did our first gig about a month or so back. i'm new at this booking gigs business, i was always a hired gun in other peoples bands before.(you know, auditions, answering ads, etc.). this is a learning experience for me. and my french is not top-notch either. and, oh yeah, we're crap! do you know, you have to pay to play these days! stay righteous!
