I used to manage and direct the Akiboards Techno Band in Chicago along with designing ads, garments, and album covers back in the day. I am often referred to as the "Father of the Black Age" for coining the term and launching the growing Black Age of Comics movement. This includes games, graphic novels, comic-books art, illustrations and garments derived from the indie, urban, Black or African experience. Plus Rhythmistic fine art that is the forerunner of the Afro-futurist art scene.
