About Me

Exotic and alluring Adama spent his formative years in Dakar. From an Italian - Senegalese parentage, whose love of music, drove the young star to develop his own unique blend of harmony and rhythm.
Adama’s veins were always going to be bursting with creativity and a vast imagination, his father cut his teeth as a DJ before following his entrepreneurial spirit of procuring several jazz clubs.
Whilst in Senegal, Adama immersed himself into musical culture and recorded several demo’s with some of Senegal’s leading jazz musicians .
London life proved inspiring for him, he fell in love with the underground scene - industrial, electro vibe and there he nurtured sound professional relationships with rock - indie musicians.
A short spell in Los Angeles proved fruitful for Adama,he starts to record acoustic world/soul demos .
From that exhilarating experience Adama was sure that he wanted to record an album.
This drove him to becoming part of a 6 piece band in which they procured several acoustic gigs.
Adama’s musical concept is incapsulated with his perception of love, philosophy, family and society and his own experiences, dreams and journeys. It’s through this medium that an immense synergy is formed between himself and his music.
His blend of music is trip hop, lounge,quite trancy with hints of groovy soulful vibe, quite dance inspired too.
His ambition, through music is to elevate people’s spirits, to be happy and to indentify themselves with his music and lyrics.
His songwriting is simplistic and always evolving - his state of mind, passion and fears which he ferociously embraces gives him the extra chutzpah to keep pushing the project................
