Diversely inspired by music legends of hip-hop (Notorious B.I.G., and Tone Loc) to new wave alternative (GoldFrapp, David Bowie and Hall & Oates) to the more contemporary sounds and productions of Kanye West, M.I.A. and Timbaland, baron. has blended his powerful vocals, songwriting talent, and beat making to create a phenomenal mix of electronica, hip-hop and vintage rock.
At a young age, baron. who was raised by his grandmother, channeled his outlandish imagination for inventing characters, music and love of writing into his unique performance style as an artist and writer. In 2003 baron. moved from the urban mecca of Newark, NJ to the bright lights of New York City to pursue his passion for the arts, and break into the entertainment industry. His unique good looks, creative mindset and unwavering determination resulted in baron. performing in front of a diverse group of audiences! He has performed nationally winning a Golden Pineapple Award in '05 for the Best Representation of the Spirit of the Fresh Fruit Festival and the 2008 Velocity Awards garnering him the Best Alternative Artist Award and on stages such as the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, One World 9/11 Benefit, Harlem Book Fair, NJPAC, Crossroads Theater, WBAI, to name a few.
baron. sensing the changing of the tides in the music industry, decided to utilize his entrepreneurship to forge ahead without a major record label. With the immerse benefit of keeping complete creative control and remaining true to the artist he is. Since deciding to take the independent route, baron. has released two albums that keeps fans awe-inspired with his unique sounds and vocals.
baron.'s sophomore album "Celebrity" released on July 11, 2008 is a genre mash-up of hip-hop, tribal, electro, and rock that dissect the celebrity phenomenon in a personal way. "Celebrity" is a celebration of life album meant to be a musical experiment of who baron. is as a person and artist. baron. released his freshman album Troubled Man, in 2004.
baron. is also a philanthropist and an avid supporter of the OutMusic Academy. baron. has made appearances in the What Goes Around, written and directed by McClinton Karma Stanley, Winner of "Best Urban Feature Film Award" at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival and the films Finding Me directed by Roger Omeus and After Party Babies directed by Henry Cruz.

In an effort to promote Black and Brown bands and artists that don’t fit within the narrow perceptions of mainstream radio, I have started an online show,LPN RADIO. I am writing to ask that your band submit songs and links to your site to be featured on the show.
As you may be aware, LPN is the hub of West Coast Alternative Urban music, news and style. For bands and artists that Black radio has no room for and mainstream radio is afraid of, the LPN platform is available to you. LPN RADIO features alternative urban bands in the genres of rock, punk, metal and alternative hip-hop. I am also interested in introducing your band, via the LPN interview series,Q:15, a daily 15 minute segment, where two songs of featured guests are played, with an interview in between.
