I was curious about something that effeted me and may effect others. Back when I was a youngster (in my 20's) at Texas Tech and later Austin, I found myself doing crazier things than the white punks…Continue

Growing up between worlds

Like most of you (especially the elders) I grew up in a fucked-up reality. I had no interest in being a stereotype. This automatically put me in the position of "Oreo". Unfortunately the white kids still saw a nigger when they looked at me. So i found myself walking this isolated reality.A few years ago i drew a comic book that described my high school experience. It was recently published by Fantagraphics, and in my opinion, is required Afropunk reading! You can order paperback or digital…See More

Profile Information

Name
Casanova Nobody Frankenstein
About Me
INTJ personality type. I am what I am. I'm not a fancy package; I don't wear khakis or desire home ownership. I got My BFA in drawing, and draw underground comics and violent/lowbrow prison-style handkerchiefs in ballpoint. I go to work every day, work on being self-aware, and creative. I listen to all kinds of music, read all sorts of books and am grounded in serious communication, which means I do not send or receive text messages. I started getting tattooed in 1987, which means I'm one of the few that got into it before it was a fad, and therefore one of the few that will never regret my work. I hate sports of all kinds, organized religion, and the military. and have no use for people that refuse to think for themselves. Pardon the Oxford comma.

September 11

Posted on September 1, 2011 at 2:11am 3 Comments

In 10 more days we have to endure the 10th bullshit anniversary of 9/11. I never particularly cared. It didn't shock me. People are murdered every day, thousands of them. It's human nature to destroy other humans. To think any differently is to live in a state of unreality.

I think black people in general were less effected by 9/11 than white people. Especially white males. White women will cry about anything. Also they often have had the instance of experiencing victimization…

Vampires

I’m out again.

It’s a Tuesday night

and for some reason

(habit)

I’m driving down I-35

to sixth street.

I’ve done this so many times.

Everything I see

banal

senseless

transparent.

I park my car in an alley

put the club on the wheel

and walk into

the senseless future.

The doormen at the nightclub

are pleasant.

They just work…

I remember the Pit-Bull Skins.  I also remember hanging out at the EXIT.  I remember the tall dude with the killer jack-boots, leather jacket, and dark glasses.
